Ranell Wakefield is the NUES Reading and Language Arts Specialist.

• Provide Professional Development Opportunities
• Provide Classroom Visit opportunities for teachers

• Researcher for identified needs and questions
• Read with students
• Work in small groups with students
• Conference with students about reading/writing
• Track down instructional tools—videos, materials, ideas
• Mentoring teachers/reading staff
