Our digital library contains special collections which include books in Spanish,
read-along books, and hi/low reads.

Our collection also contains a large selection of Duke Classics : quality,
professionally-produced classics (which are currently unlimited checkouts), as well as the more generic Project Gutenberg.

This collection of eBooks is in addition to the resources available through your county public library. And now students can connect to their county library digital books through NUES SORA.

To connect, please select the link below (also on our home page).
You may use Sora, OverDrive's app, to open our library’s digital collection.

Please read NHMU: 2020-2021 Toolbox Usage Guide
COVID-19 Update: NHMU: “ At this time, we strongly discourage having students touch and pass around the objects inside of the toolbox. All toolbox specimens are sanitized between check-outs ((*NUES does not have the ability to sanitize the kits - we will place a week long hold between check-outs )) but passing objects between students increases the chances of spread of the COVID-19 virus. Due to the current status of the public health situation surrounding
COVID-19 we recommend using this toolbox in the following ways...:”

  • Rocks & Minerals Toolbox
  • Digging Dinosaurs Toolbox
  • Box of Bones Kit
  • Insects Toolbox
  • Land Adventures / Field Tools Toolbox

COVID-19: The University of Utah and Red Butte Garden: “We have made the tough decision to cancel all Botany Bin reservations until further notice.” “As they were designed for group work they are not appropriate for use with the current social distancing guidelines, and we have yet to find definitive advice on how long the variety of surfaces in the Bins can remain contaminated or how to properly disinfect them without damaging the contents.”
