Under the direction of the Executive Director and the Board, the NUES Regional Curriculum Specialist provides leadership for curriculum development, staff development, in-service follow up , classroom observations, and technical assistance in the Utah core and professional learning communities for teachers, administrators, and others(community).

Educational Background:

  • Masters of Education in Curriculum and Development
    Grand Canyon University
  • B.S. in Elementary Education from Southern Utah University
  • B.S. in Special Education from Southern Utah University
  • Reading Specialist Endorsement
  • English Language Learner Endorsement
  • Minors: Reading and Psychology
    Southern Utah University
  • State of AZ: Trainer of Trainers; Training in presenting workshops and facilitating professional learning communities
  • Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS): Trained to teach and facilitate teachers who teach Reading and Writing
